Wow, is this really necessary to run Windows safely? Why go thru this crap when you can just switch to a Mac which is FAAAAAARRRRRRR superior anyway and be done with security issues once and for all. You won't have to worry about sneaky processes running in the background, stealing your info. Time to think different guys.

Pretty interface, provides a lot of information that can be filtered according to the "risk level". The "investigation of the system" takes several minutes.

This excellent utility first came out in November 2007 when it was announced in the Eset Support Forum (http://www.wilderssecuri...showthread.php?t=192812). They don't seem to have updated it since then judging by the download page (http://www.eset.eu/download/beta).

well i prefer to think differentLY, but if steve jobs told you to spell it incorrectly i guess you should just roll with it like the rest of your mac buddies (8% of the computer market). from what ive seen so far, sysinspector seems very informative...similar to merijn's "startuplist". still needs work, but i like the idea of the program. oh, and as for macs being more secure: http://projects.info-pull.com/moab/

Time to think for yourself!! Try your crapple snobbery somewhere else. http://www.techworld.com...s/index.cfm?newsid=1798 and where in your review do you even address this program!!!! You go have fun with your shiny overpriced apple products and their internal batteries that you need to send to them to replace This is an ok little tool to see whats going on with your system and the scan time is ok but I prefer autoruns

nice lil detail on stuff good to track spy ware and stuff. To the apple fanboy the reson apple don't have viruses yet it's because not enough people use it so the hackers don't bother . If it were ever to get as popular as windows you can bet your sweet candy azz viruses will be right around the corner....

Looks like promising though it's still in beta state.

It's like HiJackThis for dummies. I think it's a wonderful tool and have been using it for months. I hope they keep up the updates and keep it a well developed app.
