DVD43 4.4.1

DVD43 by DVD43Free Screenshot DVD43 Screenshot

DVD43 is a free DVD decrypter that runs in the background and decrypts DVDs on the fly. It will decrypt (unlock) a movie DVD so that your copy program can read it. It is a pure decrypter, it does not alter the image of the original DVD and will not remove copy protection (other than CSS encryption) added to the DVD. If the DVD structure is non standard or the DVD contains bad sectors, your copy program needs to take care of that.

I've recently upgraded from Ver 4.3 to Ver 4.40 and since then, I've been unable to analyse any movie title (at least 20 titles). Either all the movie producers are using some advanced technology or there are some serious bugs in the latest version of the DVD43 software. Please contact me at benitus@sbcglobal.net if you require detailed info but I seriously hope and pray that you guys can work to resolve these bugs soonest possible. Thank you. CK.

I just read the reviews about this and am looking for something newer than the dvd decryptor that i have. I have ipodmovie/videoconverter for my ipod but i have to decrypt my movies first. Does this work with that program? And if so how?

I just downloaded dvd43, it reads the disc then the little happy face turns green, then when i try to copy my dvd it does not work. The roxio program still says that the dvd is copy protected.

version 4.4.0.0 it's fine, I' ve just download it and the copy of the protected DVD is very good ( It works with clone DVD)but it's necessary to uninstall Anydvd if you want to use DVD43! The original (french) DVD was produced by PATHE MARCONY .

Frankc4, please READ before making useless posts. Now read this again: "...it does not alter the image of the original DVD and will not remove copy protection (other than CSS encryption) added to the DVD. If the DVD structure is non standard or the DVD contains bad sectors, your copy program needs to take care of that."

DVD43 works without flaws on my WIndows XP3 with 1 Click DVD Copy Pro. What I found were bad DVD's, cheaply made. Verbatim and TDK are selling horrific knock off Dual Layer DVD's. I wish I had more choices, but Sony DL worked perfectly, no errors or stalled video sections on playback. I'm hoping WIndows 7 doesn't make the same mistakes as Vista.

By far the BEST! For those of us still using XP, the #1 duo for video duplication is the combination of DVD43 and 1CLICKDVDCOPYPRO. There is only one star in Hollywood that has managed to screw things up, but naturally being such a political person as "SHE" is, you'd think she'd pass her knowledge on how to beat this combo on! I just renewed my 2nd year of 1 click and with dvd43 the programs are faster and faster than last year. Sorry to you folk on Vista.

DVD 43 is a great tool to use in conjunction with 1CLICKDVDCOPYPRO. The only problem is that there's not a (64 bit) variant for Vista. Hopefully DVD 43 will come up with a (64 bit) version soon.

I've been using DVD43 for years but recently bought a new computer with 64 bit processing and just discovered this won't work anymore. I found an alternative (It looks decent but I haven't had time to try it yet) and it work on 64 bit operating systems. The website is http://www.brothersoft.c...hd-decrypter-61937.html and the name of the shareware is DVDFab HD Decrypter 5.1.1.0. This site also lists a few other alternatives.

Can't use as I have a Vista 64 bit system. I enjoyed DVD43 on my old computer running XP. Badly need a 64 bit version of DVD43. Anyone any idea of when it might be available.

In vista 64 bit after you down load dvd43 right click on it click on properties you will see a compability tab click on it it will give you differant versions of windows to run it under be sure to check the box see if that will work for windows vista and any other older programs.
