Yes, this software has a small learning curve (which is probably UU's problem), but once you master it, nLite works perfectly.

Been using this for about 3 years or so. I tweak all my installs using nLite. Loved by those who take the time to learn how to use it (not that it's hard), rated low by n00bs who can't walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. ;)

nlite is one of the most useful free software tools available. Just like with any new software, you must take the time to read how to use it; otherwise, you may end up with a bunch of coasters before you get a good image. It is very easy to use as long as you're not trigger happy with the mouse. This software does work best with volume licensed media. Another great program for downloading Microsoft standalone updates is called Windows Download Updater. A cool thing about nlite is that, while it does not allow you to slipstream hardly any Microsoft programs (only a couple), you can sneak sysinternals suite into the "image" using nlite. These tools are the best out there and worth downloading if anyone is unfamiliar with them. freeware. One last thing. It does not matter how intelligent a person is, there is always a learning curve with anything new. The arrogance that is typical of most IT people is present because of their inferiority complex. Let's not stereotype ourselves to the outside world. If someone has a question about something they don't understand, help them out. Isn't that what we are on this page for?

"Fantastic I cannot say enough" I have tried Slipstreaming Service packs before, and it was tedious, and diifficult at best. With this software it was a breeze, and it gave me plenty of options to customize my Windows install. Then best of all it burns you CD. No real documentation. But if you pay attention, it is self explanatory. This is great software. Especially if you are in the PC support industry, and reinstall Windows often...

I do alot of clean installs. I tweak my system until I make a mess of it. LOL it's a hobby. With nlite I have a world of possibilities at my fingertips. It is so unassuming and yet so powerful. If there are any I'm sure they will get fixed nlite is like having those drill bit tips that allow you to remove stripped screws and bolts. You are not going to use it everyday but you are glad that you have it because it sure makes your life easire. nlite is an excellent gadget to have in your workshop

I wanted to slipstream sp3 for windows xp.. and this program made it a breeze. absolute error free installation, and its the first time i've done something like slipstreaming. not much of a help file. but if a first time user like myself can use it then so can you. btw if you google for help on nlite you will find it. another reason why i recommend nlite is because i assembled a new PC and some of the drivers for the mobo were not on the original win xp cd. so i used nlite not only to slipstream sp3 for xp but also the mobo drivers. and it worked just great from the very start.

I will tell you when i think of one This software works perectly for fully updating a version of windows so that a computer will will able to load of it without any problem. It creates wounderfull install disks that actually work, and etc.
