Keeps unwanted applications from downloading, catches drive-by downloads A large number of false positives, asks permission for every download, even ones I have initiated. Great application to have, prevents a lot of scareware from downloading on to your PC.

I'm using Windows 7, and have had no problems with this program. They offer real time protection, which most free programs do not. I did not notice any negative side affects so far. It's free. If I have any problems I will update. None at this time.

Free, and program garnered nice reviews. 1st scans produced a number of false positives. Running XP sp3 with Avast!6, Online Armor 5, Malwarebytes, (all free), but I wanted a malware program with realtime protection. Tried Immunet but had to uninstall after a few hours due to drastic slow down of pc, and snail paced launching of programs and apps. Thought I'd give Spyware Terminator a try. Installation is easy, configuration a snap. No conflicts with my existing antivirus, firewall apps.(I made exclusions for each so they give each other a wide berth). No noticable slow down or drain on system resources. 1st scan I ran produced quite a number of false positives. I quarantined them while ascertaining if real threats or not, then I got distracted and deleted them from my hard drive in error from quarantine, requiring a system restore to an earlier point so as not to endanger my pc. Program reinstalled, will monitor it closely over the next few weeks to see if it is a keeper.

is very effective is super slow and slows your pc tooo much I dont recomended until they come up with a better version than 2.8.2.192 is really slow not recomended

works great on malware, spyware, adware, virus , trojan best all around .love it. it does not block em, because i dont have that part enabled for online protection, i used avast paid, and was disappointed in avast, i got old backdoor 32 hupigon corrupted all my files etc; Download it , you will not be disappointed. it has worked when others have not .... thanks to this great software. its consistent , when others are only for a short while.
