Free. Allows choice of naming format. Basic skin good as-is, not too tiny like WinAmp. Free version cannot save as MP3. Popup happy, I recommend most basic configuration during installation, add stuff later if desired. If you are looking for a free MP3 ripper, this is not it. Will make WMA and a few other formats. I found this out on their website support page. 'Compare features' website page did not mention this. They wasted my time.

Winamp makes me feel so frustrated due to some repeat song track bugs and rebooted so many times. I just uninstalled my Winamp. So i decided to try out JetAudio. I tested every single function for 3 hrs. Wat can i say? WONDERFUL & AWESOME! None yet and i hope not. Strongly recommended music player to use!

Great Sound. Loads Fast. Easy installation. Many video features not found in WMP. Great Library Functions. I could go on and on and on.... Still has a wierd UI...but getting better all the time. A little hard to navigate. Good sound. Good Video. The UI is difficult, but this version has greatly improved it. Great for video. Lots of options not found in any other freeware I have found. Try It!

None worth mentioning It crashes too often, you send reports to the developers but nothing changes. There are too many other similar , good products around to persevere with this one with it's problems. I have had these problems over many versions and updates and nothing has been done. Also, I own a Cowon A3, and nothing on the download page told A3 owners to download from the Cowon website, so I had real trouble installing the software.

It would not do what it said, Download you-tube videos. If that's what you want, don't install it. It's an audio compilation program. Kept wanting me to download more things. Couldn't download you tube videos as was my intention.I think it's in the wrong category. Wouldn't do what I wanted,Removed it.

Covers all formats except versions of CDG (will convert the music but not the music and video together). I just wanted to convert my CDs to MP3 format. For the choises they give you, you need to be a sound engineer to understand it. If I'm wrong about CDGs its because of their lack of a guide. The first time I used it, I chose the wrong format and quickly filled the memory of my Palm. Through trial and error I managed to load my MP3 player but it took a while. If they want to be so technical in their format names, they need to include a dictionary and a how-to guide for us common folk. Even now I would still appreciate that knowledge.

Feature packed, good interface if a little confusing, rock solid and stable, great DVD playback The interface is sometimes overwhelming, making it a little difficult to get where you need and do what you need. I am not going to compare it to other players, I will rate it as is. It is a very good, solid, feature-packed media player. Plays many formats, even DVDs. The only draw-back is that the interface is sometimes overwhelming, making it a little difficult to get where you need and do what you need. Seems sometime that people want a perfect product with all the bells and whistles for free. Too bad it doesn't work that way. This is a fine media player with tons of features.

Something about this app is nice but I can't seem to explain -- sort of the way I can't leave a Target store without buying something... - User interface really needs revisiting... - Audio recordings made outside the app automatically appear in my top playlist... see below for the whole issue... I've had JetAudio for a few months but I've never gotten used to it... the user interface really needs work... Here's why: 1.) whenever I open the app, three separate tabs open at the bottom of my screen, which crowds my app bar and generally annoys me... you can close one of the three tabs, but if you close the wrong one, the WHOLE app shuts down... 2.) if one of the tabs is minimized, it creates a new long thin tab (spanning above the regular tabs) that is really hard to use -- or close... 3.) whenever I go to play an album that I've ripped, it usually takes me a few tries to find the folder where all my albums are hiding... and 4.) when I make a live recording (using Audxxxxy), it will automatically overwrite one of my playlists with that new recording... that bugs me! But for some reason I do like JetAudio, that's why I've kept it, but maybe I'm just too lazy to try out yet another music mgmt app...

Versatile. Seems to do alot... Just won't do some simple things any good audio program should. Won't rip my CDs to mp3 format. I've got tons of music stored as mp3s, so for simplicity's sake I'd like to use the same format for new rips. Perhaps there's a newer format that uses less storage, but who cares- 2TB hard drives cost $100 Many better options out there.
