"works great" i like knowing no one can look into my computer with out asking me first. and if i say no they can't even see my computer it is a little heavy on the pop ups but when you get past that, its smooth sailing after it learns what you want to allow and not to allow. Updated on Jul 19, 2009

"In the short time I own the product: very very nice" It works and it's free, what else do you want? I gave it 4 stars, because along with viruses and malware it removes plug-ins that are needed for browsers and that I have no way to recognize by their names to exclude from deleting.

"Works great . Low CPU resources used. Clean interface." Cfp.exe process uses just 3,336 KB RAM under WinXP SP3. Can't tell if any other running processes are for Comodo. None so far in one month of usage ( a/o 7-20-09 ). Good free software. Firefox 3.5 works fine with it. Updated on Jul 19, 2009

5/5 but adware in installation is shame... but I can not install it, simply disabling it in installation...

Low on RAM, memory and CPU usage Antivirus is fast for me about 4 minutes to scan 110,000 files (excellent speed) Antispyware caught some spyware BOclean is intergrated Suite is packaged with antivirus, antispyware, antimalware, firewall In the start update takes a while and firewall can be irritating but after it is amazing I like this suite it is a little irritating and long at start but works great after. It never crashed my computer even once and the firewall is good. The antivirus and antispyware built in and Boclean is great. I have no viruses and everything loads quickly. Comodo internet 3.10 is very low on memory and CPU usage. I like this more than Avast because Avast seems to slow down my computer. I remember when comodo had internet security 3.8, I never liked it that much because it used a lot of resources but 3.10 has REDUCED like crazy and the antivirus is much more effective. I recommend this suite to everyone. Anyone can learn it. 5/5 from me

the description makes it sound great IT LIES, its slow, its buggy, it doesn't install properly, it doesn't uninstall properly and it just stopped working multiple times. When installing you have the option for firewall and/or antivirus, I selected firewall only. After installation and giving up on the update after 30min it started running a virus scan. I DIDNT INSTALL ANTIVIRUS!. I also told it not to install ask.com search bar but It also installed anyway. The first time I tried to run the uninstall I just froze and never ran. after a restart I got it to run but after literally two hours of waiting for uninstaller to finish I had to restart again and use a third party app to remove it. I would suggest staying away from this app unless you have some time to waste and some blood pressure to raise.

"Thank you Comodo!" Easy to install. Many settings and applications are already on the application's allow list, making configuration instant and trouble free. Way easier to install than ZoneAlarm and it is not buggy in Vista like ZoneAlarm. Its entirely free too! The user interface is neat and clean, but a bit overwhelming, even for a more advanced user like myself. I was able to make the adjustments I wanted, but it took a little bit of exploring to find them.

"Presents a lot of features but has issues." - Includes Antivirus, Firewall, Internet Security, and System Defense.- Easy UI, not bad looking.- Automatic updates (also a con as it may freeze system)-Scheduled scanning- Free - Anti virus sometimes triggers blue screens when it scans, otherwise it crashes.- Automatic updates may freeze computer (they can be turned off though)- Constantly asking for permissions even when told to remember my choices. I have a Windows Vista x64. The issues might have been because of my OS and 64 bit system, but I am sure that there are better options out there that don't give as many issues that this program will give you. As of today, this program needs work.

"Poor detection few features" Its free, I love free You get what you pay for. This basic security suite lacks the polish and the effective detection of a Kaspersky or a Norton product. The virus scanner does poorly in industry tests such as AV-Test.org and av-comparatives. You can do better. Not worth the price - even at free.

Passed PC flanks leak tester. Not for the novice user. Defense+ is a pain if not configured properly. I have mixed emotions with Comodo products. I have tried almost every utility thay have for free or trial, And noticed Comodos own Defense+ has flagged or found them as a threat. Dealing with lots of different Security suites and products I have never found a software to attack each other as Comodo's. If wanting to use the firewall, I would suggest also download the AV that comes with it. For some reason it seems to tame defense+ and makes the users life less stressful with less flags. I would also advise to run defense+ in clean PC mode, And have found it a better way of not getting flagged every time you look at your desk top. I only hope they get there firewall to be a little more user friendly for the average user.

"Superb Low Resource Use, great protection, userfriendly" Very low on resource use, so your computer remains at top speed. Comodo provides great real time scanning and a very customizable user interface for firewall and anti virus settings None. unless you believe the intial warning pop ups are annoying, but they stop because Comodo learns from your behaviors

"excellent firewall and defense +" the firewall was awesome and also the defense + because it alerts you when a new file is been executed. nothing at all except im not using there antivirus because im using avira antivir personal with malwarebytes anti malware for on demand scanning without real time protection. its only just an awesome product except for their antivirus

"My computer froze." The computer froze so I don't know if the program works. My computer froze after program loaded. I don't know if the computer froze because the sysstem was put together from scratch and it is not compatible.

"the firewall is definitely the best...." i am not a fan of comodos antivirus ( i think avg and avira r better) but the firewall is gr8.... it detects all incoming and outgoing requests... it works quietly in the background... there is also the unique "installation mode"... u should install the firewall and get avira antivir or avg or avast as an antivirus.... not much gets past these products and extremely harmful viruses can be detected and removed its a great product and the fact that it runs without slowing down ur computer at all is a big positive...

"Comodo runs undetected until needed." It was easy to download and runs without annoyance, until there is a need for it. I only use the firewall and it was easy to separate the antivirus when downloading. It detects every little item going through. I like the idea of the outside direction as to which items to allow and which to remove, but there has been no outside advice on the items I have encountered. It's a great program, even better that it's free. I use Avira for antivirus, so cannot comment on the Comodo antivirus. I've never had a problem as long as Comodo has been my firewall, can't say the same about Zone Alarm.

Can't come up with a single Pro Immediately crashed and froze my computer I've learned my lesson... ...never again will I ignore overwhelming negative reviews of software. I've just spent the last two weeks assembling and configuring my "dream" computer and getting everything "perfect"... ...best of everything, nearly $4000 worth of parts alone from Newegg, Vista Ultimate 64, etc, and two weeks of intense labor to get everything just right. ...time for a firewall. I've used and loved Comodo Firewall for several years, so came here to download it. Read the reviews, decided to use "something else", but couldn't find a free alternative I liked. ...decided "what the heck, it can't be that bad, I'm knowledgeable and will be anal about installing only the firewall; nothing else"... So, I went to Comodo's site, verified that I could get the firewall only, and made sure to un-check every option... ...took almost an hour to complete. ...restarted... The darn thing crashed everything; I couldn't even connect to the internet! I did a system restore (I hate to do that; I usually save an image of my C drive which has only the operating system, but hadn't updated the image yet after tweaking some settings and installing some software). I've just now gotten things running again; don't know what kind of damage was done... How could a company with the track record and performance of their previous firewall product come out with a product like this? I refuse to believe that anyone has had success with their latest edition. I've lost all faith in the editor's ratings because of this fiasco; in light of the overwhelming negative reviews, wouldn't an update be appropriate?

"It has improve a lot! Best free antivirus" It's free, uses few memory. some few false positive, compare to other anti-virus. But false positive is better than allowing virus in your PC

Been using it a month or so and my laptop is running smoothly and caught everything in its path.It updates all day.light on CPU.Free. I love the word FREE. No cons................ Thats what you want, Antivirus, Firewall and Antispyware all in one. Brilliant for free! Give it a try!
