Comodo Internet Security is designed to be the that integrates Comodo Antivirus, Comodo Firewall and Comodo Defense+ in a seamless manner. We have also fixed many bugs in Comodo Firewall with this release. Comodo Firewall or Comodo Antivirus can be installed as standalone products by using the same setup.

Firewall is Very good.... AntiVirus component will get better with time.... So for the time being I am only installing the Firewall & Hips (Defense+)....

The antivirus is terrible. Slow, low detection rate, many false positives and generally not a finished or properly working product. A bad antivirus is worse than no antivirus at all. You feel safe when you're not. The firewall is pretty good (one of the better free firewalls). The HIPS, host intrusion prevention system, is actually one of the better ones. Even compared to commercial products. Any administration past "leave as it was when installed" level is pretty much a nightmare. The UI is cluttered, counter-intuitive and difficult to configure properly. Documentation is lacking. If they improve the antivirus, documentation and UI this might be a great product, right now it's just 'meh' and you install a proper antivirus. Then a proper firewall that you can configure without sobbing in your beer. All this defeats the purpose of an "Internet Security" package and will only get 3/5. The firewall/HIPS get 5/5.

this security app is prolly the best one u can get actually on the market, if people don't know it, they should give it a try, it's really a great prog and it's a freeware that can protect u better than most of knowns security apps sharewares. if u need help, u can join the comodo forum, u'll always find help as moderators and admins are really cool people, they're always there to help u and most of forum users too. if u care about security for your machine, comodo is a choice u cannot ignore anymore.

Gets more stable with every update. Use the Comodo firewall with free Avira AV for a great, light, quick combination.

this one is the first solid stable (in my opinion) of the 3.5 seriese. if you have been waiting for it to mature a bit before upgrading, nows the time.

It seems that every time I have used this product I had some sort of trouble with it down the road and this is no difference. To me it is not user friendly and I do not call learning mode user friendly. Sorry, not for me, perhaps another time. I do not like a security software that blends all three in one parcel for somewhere there is always a problem.
Rated 30/50 by DakotaSunRunner at Dec 4, 2008
For one thing, all three in one program is not the best option at all. I have had problems with this program not cooperating well with some things. I choose not to use it, I prefer others for myself. Some will say it is excellent and others will say just the opposite. I will just say it is not for me. To each their own and everyone has a right to put on their computer what they wish, not what another insists upon.

The one & only security-tool you need ! Does a really great job for no costs !!! Think about that (for example LakotaElf) !

Simply the best security solutions out there. And it is free! Check http://www.matousec.com/...l-challenge/results.php for an independent fw challenge where version .432 has been tested. V .439 even better!

Whatever the peoples say, for a FREE product this fw+av combo is amazing! Again, read my lips: FOR A FREE PRODUCT, this is simply great. But well, in all fairness I myself prefer: ESET's Smart Security v4 (in beta atm).

Excellent security suite! I really like the lightness. It's not overbearing like some of the commercial security suites. Excellent FW, very good AV, and getting better! The price isn't bad either!

ok its free and all credit to the developers for a sterling service, however its not good if you have security concerns or you want a bullet proof rig. I used this program some time ago and got hacked.. tried Esmart which I didnt have total faith in and now use Avira which again doesnt do a complete job, but after trying various AV, Avira is probably the best.

Great piece of software, and the price just makes it better. More partial towards ESS, but also a fan of money

Great software, but they need separate installers for the AV and firewall so people don't have to download 50MB which contains 25MB of software they don't want.

Just a false alarm, I hope. ALWIL Software Avast 4.8.1296.0 says ...\CIS_Setup_3.5.61373.458_XP_Vista_x32_BETA.exe\[PECompact]\[Embedded_R#IDR_PRODUCT_32_HEUR_CAV] Win32:Crypt-IN [Trj] Trojan Horse EDIT already!!!

An amazing piece of software. I had been looking for a firewall that will not conflict my present anti-malware applications and CIS dances well with my other free security applications: Avast Home and Antivir Free. The Defense +, Antivirus (Yes, you read it right. I activated the antivirus module and it has no angst whatsoever with the beforementioned security applications) and Firewall are amazingly seamless in operation. The Firewall module sees all inbound and outbound activity. Both Comodo Antivirus and Avast cover spywares and other malwares as well. The best free security suite to date and I shall make no apologies. I am a hard to please person and I had been seriously testing practically all security applications known to the computer users, free or paid. I appreciate the Comodo, Avast, and Avira companies.

FIne Internet security suite, but they should include a changelog and a screen shot. What changed? Dunno!
