Can't say. Used it for 2 days and got rid of it. Kept putting programs into the "Sandbox" making so I couldn't access them. It was to difficult to figure out how to grant my programs access to the internet. So I just uninstalled it. To advanced for this intermediate user.

I have used Comodo successfully, and find it as good or better than many free and pay alternatives. Some systems need strict protection, and that's what Comodo does well. Tricky to setup. Beginners should not make to many adjustments. I disinfect PCs every day. I cleanup infected machines protected with well known security software like Norton, Trend and McAfee. I often replace these paid programs with no-cost alternatives like Avast, Avira and Comodo. I have had some cases where kids in the house managed to get the Win XP machines infected on a regular basis. I started using Comodo, and found this security software effective even when kids use the PC. I see infected systems every day. I guide people to free security tools everyday, including Comodo. It works well, stable and does not hog resources. Easy enough to uninstall if you don't like it.

One of the better free firewalls! Defense +, a program which is supposed to protect system files and block malware from installing, is really bad and you do not have the choice to opt out! There is an option to install only the firewall, which I took - for years Comodo has had one of the best free firewalls out there and I did not need antivirus, being satisfied with Microsoft Security Essentials for the moment. However, when one installs using the "firewall only" option, one also gets an uninvited guest - Defence +. Defence + proved to be one of the most frustrating programs I have ever dealt with - forgetting settings/changes to settings, not allowing programs to be installed, etc. I have used Kaspersky, Zone Alarm, Norton, AVG, Trend Micro, and others on quite a number of machines, and some of the "everything but the kitchen sink" suites have been pretty intrusive at times. However, this one wins the award hands down! I uninstalled Comodo Internet security and I am once again in control of my own computer - at least as much as Windows 7 allows one to be! :-) Sometimes "free" costs far too much!

I love the online support on the Pro verson, they cleaned my PC and now the speed has improved tremendously. I also put the product on a notebook and the Trustconnect wireless protection is just what iI need since I am in Airports all the time. The free version that i started with was ok, better than the free AVG antivirus. My PC is running smoothly and the sandbox feature is great it saves me the trouble of having to identify every bad file that comes my way. Lots of features and settings and a great defense against malware. AAA+

1 - The fact that its an ALL-IN-ONE deal FIREWALL + ANTIVIRUS which by the way they both perform remarkably2- ITS FREE !!!3 - Great Update feature runs smoothly in the background For a Free software I cant really say there are cons ! Ive been a comodo user since back in the days it was just a firewall, so I had a software for firewall another one for antivirus and another one for anti malware (Comodo - Avast - Adaware) so you can imagine 3 !!! software JUST to keep your pc safe , so when comodo came out with the firewall + antivirus package i couldnt be happier - Less software running in the background is always good !!!Im not a regular computer user, i have installed comodo on the PC on which i make my living !!! and so far it has proved to be very reliant, I recently formatted my hard drive and installed windows 7 from windows XP, but in the 3-4 years that i had that pc with comodo it ran smoothly allowing me to surf the internet without fear that the PC that i use for work will catch something nasty, and my XP ran smoothly !and its literally great for computer illiterate people that somehow tend to mess up their pc. I use it when fixing or installing software for my computer illiterate friends and relations and their pc's have had less or no crashes since then !!!!

Its very specific and will prevent access and complete protection of even the smallest programs. Very specific and Works with other anitvirus programs, I use AVG as an additional anti virus just to be safe. A bit Intrusive and sensitive. Some programs I use are always popping up as spyware so its a little sensitive to me. Does not work with certain programs and will crash and cause a BSOD for example Cisco VPN. Bottom Line: Great overall features such as the Firewall security suite. Not sure if it works with other operating systems such as as linux but have not had the success with windows 7. I would recommend this software

Make up your mind nvic! I have used Comodo and it is just fine and I even had Shields Up try to get thru and they couldn't. The only problem I had with it is the nag screen every time I wanted to use cleaning software. I know I could "allow" those programs to run with Comodo but I switched back to ZoneAlarm free, which btw, Shields Up could not get thru either. Comodo is free and it gives you the av also. Excellent program.

It just works. Also can't argue with the fact that it's free for business use. AVG and Antivir aren't.

Absolutely atrocious gui. what a mess. Need an actual training course to use. garbage option to use comodo dns servers (all your browsing is their business). NOT private firewall is a joke. pc tools is the ONLY free fw that just works with any config or software and is simple and straightforward without wondering what the hell is going on, no booting or software issues whatsoever, wondering why the fw doesn't question some things but does others, or having a gui straight from hell like this crap

Best freeware out there. I had no issues since I switched to it couple of years ago. Kudos to the team

I tried this and it is bloated and slow just use Private firewall http://www.privacyware.com/products.html and avira

Blocks everything I throw at it when testing and allows only what I want to access the network. For a free program Comodo should be given a look see by those seeking a great free firewall. For those complaining about the options I have found them to be straight forward but then again I do not install programs and then not look at how to use them.

free & i don't have to do anything none that i can think of

Apparently very powerful. Nearly impossible to configure the software. Once a program is added, it is nearly impossible to find the find it in, say the Sandbox, and modify its settings. Comodo is amazing for screwing the updates. User must manually reinstall the program. NOT for the average user. Simplify the user interface and maybe, MAYBE, I'll use it again.

Very easy to install and configure. I've run this program on twenty computers. I highly recommend this program to customers, friends and family. Absolutely none. An EXCELLENT product to protect your computer. For a free product I've seen none better. ;)

overall package..easy to customeise After using thew FW for sometime the new CIS package interfered with both my creative mp3 player, updates and file saving...as well as FreeRam xp Pro....resulting in a windows 'blue screen' at each update. Back to the firewall only (and avast) Not for my (common) useage

Didn't slow down my computer at all. Does what it does. Nothing to report here I have been using Comodo for several years on my home computer, ever since I got fed up with ZoneAlarm. To me, this is all right.

The anti-virus is superb and the firewall even better. The sandbox feature is unique to Comodo and makes the entire suite unbeatable. Many false positives. It would be nice if the information collected by the Threatcast system were made more automated. I use this on dozens of computers and know I don't need to look back.
