Great firewall protection, proactive defense and the AV is a lot better then I thought. I love that it has a sandbox too! I can't believe the cost $0 I think it might be a little daunting for some folks perhaps, maybe too many bells and whistles. I think if you really need some good solid protection, it might be in your best interest to give it a shot. Judge it for yourself, spend sometime getting to know the different setting cuz, you can really dial this bad boy in - good luck and happy hunting

Freeware - active virus and firewall - automatic updates - real-time scanning - many good features Has developed compatability issues with other software - also many bugs and other issues I installed Comodo about a year and a half ago - when I installed the current version then, it scanned my PC for viruses as part of the install process. The next updated version, this feature disappeared - ever since then, it has gone downhill, with many bugs and compatability issues appearing with each updated version. Especially has compatability issues when used in a network setting.

It has best ever "Firewall", "Defense+" and new future "Sandbox", Well improved "Antivirus" with onaccess detection. In old version 3.* it had many alert. But it has been removed in the latest version 4.0 This software has 3 layer of protection. First layer it never allows unknown applications to access your system(Firewall). second layer if any unknown application is found in your system. Then it won't allow the application/Malware to access your data(Defense+, Sandbox). Third layer it will remove malware found in your system(Antivirus). Its a 100% security software makes our system 100% secured.

Seem to be working. Hard to tell unless I have a problem. A bit obtrusive

seems to catch everything. lot better than windows and nod32 until comodo learns your programs, pop-ups are endless. but that's how program learns.

The ease of use, and the remote PC support is awesome. The sandbox technology along with the comfort of a $500 guarantee makes this the best PC security suite out there. Still have not found any Cons.

installed 2 weeks ago & yes it does what it says - good protection & very good for the pc - my pc has never performed so well & is a lot healthier - i used to use norton but i found that slowed my pc down due to usage of lot memory as told me by a friend - this product is a very sensible application & protection is thorough

Installed it today - only the FW portion - without any problems. Before uninstalling my old version 3.x I have exported the configuration which I've then imported to the new v4 without problems. Running fine so far on WIN XP /SP3....no slowdowns or anything...I've disabled the sandbox part by the way since Sandboxie is installed on my system PS: I just saw that it has reached a perfect score on Matousec http://www.matousec.com/...y-challenge/results.php PSS: To the reviewers below...have you really tried this version?? I had been using V3 for a long time and I think I can honestly say that V4 has the same look&feel&speed as the predecessor...

it's free, very simple for new users or can be a complete and comprehensive security system for the most advanced user. I stopped my internet from working by trying to be clever using it's more advanced features. Leave them well alone. When altering something I would like a pop up saying ''this will make this or that unstable or not work properly'' Comodo suite is brilliant for me as a pc engineer who has to protect peoples computers without having to buy expensive firewall's and anti-virus protection for the computers i repair daily. As i said before part of my job is knowing wot in my opinion is very good software for individual users and their pc's depending on their speed and memory and the amount users can spend to keep themselves protected. Comodo is the best that I have come across.. I have dvd's backups of the utils i use and have kept on and off my system. In all the time i have had these backups i always scanned them before putting onto dvd and so i thought they were clean as they have all been scanned with all the best applications for malware, spyware, trojans etc. After scanning these with Comodo the results shocked me badly. The least infected dvd had 19 infections and the highest 44. So thats my story. And the worst thing is, as a pc man whose living is earned by peoples trust, is now on here, admitting that i must have infected every pc i have fixed when i have put my utils dvd into them as i am fixing them. ;( Get this, put it on, and trust it. Or u are mad, insane, or cannot read.

A serious software. A solid defense. None. I have nothing to criticize. About full command...more buttons.

It WAS a nice and easy configured firewall that did what it was told. Automaticly adds "trusted" software to the "OKEJ" list, without asking you...that is not okey.. Has been the best, but now I have to take a look at the rest...

It's free, comprehensive, very compliant, has a cool interface, light on resources, highly configurable and very easy to use and manage, and haven't made a false positive since training period ended. Slow scan, slower when scanning multiple files, first few days of training can be exhausting, slows down startup and shutdown, and updates can sometimes hog memory. It's a pretty powerful security suite, and considering that this is free, it's remarkable. Unlike many security suites I've tried, it is rather light on resources. And it can be easily configured even by beginners. However, it causes slow startups and shutdown. By opting to simply manually start it and shut it down, this problem was remedied. The antivirus isn't as good as they say, although it did manage to remove all viruses my previous AV failed to even detect. It made two false positives though. Setting it to training mode for the first few days actually fixes all of the false positives although it can be very exhausting. The scan is unbelievably slow taking as long as an hour and a half for a full scan and it slows down each time it scans multiple files. However, after configuring it, the scan became much faster (about 24 minutes). I wouldn't rely on it's AV for real-time protection, but it's good for second scanning and the behavior-based detection is accurate and so is the firewall. I suggest replacing the AV (installed but disabled to keep Defense +) with another. I opted for a portable AV (ClamWin and a few others), Threatfire and Immunet Protect. All three of which are light on resources and accurate.

Its free,of course.Very light on CPU. Does not slow my Vista laptop down at all. Very easy to use. To date, no cons and have been using it for about 9 months. I have tried them all, ie, Kaspersky, Zone Alarm, Bitdefender to name a few. This for FREE has to be the best. It has caught everything thrown at it. It updates constantlly. Some days I forget its there at all. Very light on CPU usage. Once it learns your system, its a case of set and forget. Believe me its much better than the worst programme ever (In my opinion).... Norton... I would not hesitate in telling people to download it. I have installed it on my Two daughters laptops and a few of my friends. They feel the same as me too.Its free and does a brilliant job.Go on give it a try!

The Powerful AntivirusPowerful firewallSandbox mode works great! i run AVG in it (hehe AVG doesnt like it ;]) And im a spyware type of person...so i download spyware and i put the Sandbox mode to its test! None! Yes you may think im nuts but i love their products! This product is great! I recently had a virus infection and it wouldnt let me install any other antivirus so i put Comodo on a USB and ran it and i did a full scan and it just completely annihilated the virus! Ive kept it ever since! its just freaking amazing! i dont know why people dont like "Oh cuz of the bugs blah blah" yeah well deal with it! its amazing and i love it! Bottom line....You Get It Or Suffer My Spyware!! haha

hmmm....all-in-one virus/firewall? Maybe that's a positive. Oh and it's free. Blue screen of death on WinXP every time I connect using Cisco VPN. Many programs crashed completely on startup like Toshiba modules, Sprint Smartview, etc. LOTS of them. Doesn't play well with others. Skip it and find a better alternative.
