Comodo Internet Security is designed to be the that integrates Comodo Antivirus, Comodo Firewall and Comodo Defense+ in a seamless manner. We have also fixed many bugs in Comodo Firewall with this release. Comodo Firewall or Comodo Antivirus can be installed as standalone products by using the same setup.

"effective and reliable" It checks every application and asks for user response related apps that are part of an approved program are checked as well as the app itself . this is a little time consuming but worth the effort.

"A great free product. A lot of potential." I really think this company has some good products and will make an impact in the future. Their CIS program is the best free antivirus and firewall solution out there. It even has better detection rates than other free products. There is a little bug in the updating feature. If you play around with it or read the forums, you should be able to figure it out. It may be a little sensitive for some users as the firewall likes to give off a moderate number of messages. It really is a wonderful product. However, some users may not like how sensitive the firewall is but it is great for advance users who like to monitor every little thing in their computer. It also detects viruses and spyware well.

"Good product for moderate to expert users" Many configuration options give the user very good control of the computer I would not expect a beginner to set it up properly. Also, the scan is slower than other AV products I've used I like having total control over my AV and firewall, and this soft gives me that. Nice UI that isn't too cute or busy, just tells me what I need to know.

FIREWALL, FREE, EASY TO INSTALL, COMPATIBLE WITH NETWORKS, LEARNS ONE TIME AND RETAINS KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT ASKING AGAIN. FIREWALL BETTER THAN ZONE ALARM. HARD TO FIND WHAT PROGRAMS FIREWALL BLOCKS GOING OUT, SHOULD BE MARKETED AS A FIREWALL NOT ONLY AN ANTI VIRUS ONLY PROGRAM. ? NEEDS A BETTER NAME. I am only discussing the Firewall portion of Comodo, as I have not tried the anti virus or the anti spam capabilities. It was not clear to me it was a firewall program, as the word firewall is not in the name. So, I would suggest to Comodo they add the words Firewall, Anti Virus, and Anti Spam to the name. The firewall is great and someday I will try the other features. I have tried the Zone Alarm (ZA) firewall several times and have been disappointed that it tends to block my home network and the only solution I have found was to turn it off. You would think I would learn. So, I decided to test other Firewalls and due to the lack of time I have, I have only tried 2 so far, Agnitum Outpost Firewall, which I do not like and ZA,. So far I like Comodo. It works well with my home network, it appears to be stopping incoming and out going programs. The only thing I do not like is the lack of a list of programs I can block or not block. It may be available, but I can not find it. This is one of the features I like about ZA, but does not appear to be in Comodo. I would recommend Comodo?s firewall in any case.

"Just Great" Everything You cannot dislike it. Features are already told by other users so I will not repeat.

"Guards your door." For a free program it does a great job. Lets me know what is going in and out. I've tried zone alarm and many others and always came back to this. Doesn't have those annoying banners or pop-ups or anything telling you to upgrade. Rather leave my anti-virus to Microsoft Security Essentials. Overall a great firewall for a great price!

"Fantastic as a security suite or a stand-alone firewall" Rich list of features and incredibly knowledgeable support base. Easy enough for quick and simple deployment by first-time users, but enough power-user features for the most advanced security-minded individual. Sometimes a little complicated to navigate GUI.

Tried this some time ago before the bugs were fixed and it slowed my pc to unusable . This version however is without doubt the best free offering avaiable . I was on Online Armor but that also slowed the PC to a stop . Great piece of work .

Sorry... I did not like it.... too much fluff.... not enough substance.... the A/V is very low on the totem pole.

After using the extremely buggy and horribly encoded Onine Armor, this Comodo internet Security feels extremely polished, extremely light on resources and gives much better protection that that crap online armor.

"needs work before ready for the public" found some things AVG didn't find 38 MB download then 106 MB of database, then 4 days later another 106 MB, without asking or without showing how much data it is going to load. Numerous minor settings didn't work. I uninstalled it and went back to AVG. Stick with AVG

Offers for FREE -- STRONG Antivirus protection, a frequently AUTOupdated Firewall, Up to the minute updated protection against Malware, + more! Scans for new updates EVERY time you order it to scan. Sometimes the security warning pop-ups can get annoying -- especially when you are installing a new trusted program, but hey, it's just "doing its job." Simply the easiest, most comprehensive, & streamlined interface I've seen. Absolutely idiot proof in helping 99% of technophobes understand what nasty programs are trying to affect their computer. Fast. Frequent updates. Auto-update technology in a FREEWARE program. Normally a program of this quality would cost you $50 - 80 or so. Comodo delivers.
