"So far so good, no problems at all" I installed it in place of Avast which was causing a conflict with Xobni. No problems now. Everything's running tip-top. Nothing so far. Good product. I'm very happy with it and am going to put it on my other PC when I have a chance.

The internal updater kept on downloading and downloading, at over 400MB I cancelled it, uninstalled this crap, and once again tell people to stay away from this grey crap.

Very complete, functional, light, and useful Internet security suite. Each module works well. The firewall will inexplicably lock out networking and some Internet programs on occasion, but you can un block them. I will never understand why the developer shoots himself in the foot. The current 3.6 user rating would go up 1 point all over the Internet if only he would un check the unrelated programs during the install process. That's all that keeps it from being a 9 out of 10. Recommended, but do un-check the tool bar, home page, and search options during install.

So tick the logging box for the allow rule you care about?

Rated 50/50 by Lsavagejt at Nov 18, 2009

It's a five, but I would like to see a log of packets allowed, not just the ones blocked, in real time.

This review is just for firewall. Simply the best of them all. ZoneAlarm etc. are not as good at this. It's biggest positive is it's HIPS. Simply the best of them all. Slows down the startup a bit. But afterwards, it runs smooth without any problems. And it's AV is useless. Firewall is the best. Comodo is a must if you want to go for a firewall and free too. I don't like it's AV as it's not as good as it's firewall. While installing, you can disable AV if you like, you can enable it afterwards if you want. It has a grea HIPS - Host-based Intrusion prevention system that can stop or notify you from any changes made to you computer, and even registry. I really recommend it. It's the best I've used.

"Comodo is working great on my laptop so far...." The price is right...FREE. I didn't mind the initial popups alerting me to programs wanting access to my hard drive. After approx. two days, Comodo had "learned" my laptop and the popups are now minimal. So, far I am pleased. No cons to report For students and people lacking big money for antivirus protection, Comodo is great. I am grateful for free virus protection.

"Do Not Use!" I may be a good security software But I refuse to use it because in their privacy policy, it says that it collects personal information only after obtaining your consent, which is obtained when you download a product. I refuse to use this software because I refuse to have my personal data collected unless I approve of it. I do not approve of comodo collecting my personal information just because I downloaded their product.

It worked fairly well on my computer for months and alerted me to a few things that my other security program didn't pick up. Any time I tried to install a new program it asked for approval at every step. What a nuisance. I loved this product at first. It was easy to set up and did what it was supposed to do. But then it worked a bit too well and any installation of new software took over 10 minutes unless I remembered to disable Comodo before starting. But the real problem I had was after the last update: suddenly my computer would not fully load Windows! I ultimately had to start up in safe mode and remove Comodo altogether. For the record, my computer is an HP G60 laptop running Vista Home Premium, so if you have a similar system you may want to think twice before downloading this suite. Frankly, I will not consider this brand again unless I can be assured that this major problem has been fixed.

"Best firewall hands down" Firewall works very well It's a bit of a nuisance when you install any exe. files, as it asks for approval at every step

"It Does Everything Except Protect Your Computer" None. It does not work. Period. Like a chain, it's only as good as its weakest link. And this has a weak link. Apparently this thing tries to "learn" what should and shouldn't go through and it is horrible at it. It is really impenetrable. I have no idea what gets to and what does not get to go through coming or going. It has a "training mode" which the best I was able to understand means that it tries to learn what kind of things should go through. If that'... read more >>

"AMAZING _ IT's the first free full security suite" It's free It's antivirus AND firewall It's , i think, the only free full security suite. It's saved my computer more than once it's free it works its better than mcaffee and avg it's a free internet security suite that is brill ??? theres nothing wrong with it, maybe slightly 2 many pop upz but oh-well It's the first free security software that includes both antivirus and its fantastic, you can choose the security level + create custom scans and loads more. Never even mentions upgrading to paid version like others. IT WORKS AND IS BRILL
