Works as advertised. It provides a Windows 7-look of the taskbar when the system and style files have been patched. It is easy to install. If I recall, there aren't any malware in it, but you have to be careful when downloading files. Only restart is required to patch the system files. However, that's very minor for me. I love the fact that I got rid of the glossy look of the Windows Vista taskbar, thereby making my taskbar look like Windows 7, but not completely, which works completely fine for me. I must say that it's how I wanted my taskbar to look. :) Speaking of "glossy-looking taskbar," the top-half of the taskbar looked way too bright, which is a bit of a distraction for me. Besides, it did not blend in very nicely with my always-changing wallpaper. My wallpaper changes automatically every 10 minutes, so when combined with the taskbar that fully takes advantage of Aero Glass, it makes my desktop so fresh and modern (with pictures from outside of Swan and Dolphin (hotel resort), Epcot (Disney theme park), and Buena Vista Palace (non-Disney hotel near Downtown Disney). Thanks to the developers of VistaGlazz for providing such a tool I need.

A small patcher utility that worked for me as intended (Vista-32). It allows for a transparent look while you're windows are maximized. None. Worked as intended. If you looking for a way to keep the transparent look while you're windows are maximized this is one quick way to do that.

allowing you to keep the transparency enabled while having your windows maximized none i could think A nice side effect to this is that by patching your system files, you are able to use 3rd party themes and styles to fully customize your Windows look and feel

this tool is a miracle for vista basic as it has no transparency and aero this tool does it all automatically changes the dll's of windows even a 11 year old can do it last year I did it when I was 11 now 12 or was it when i was 10 nothing as I said its a total miracle This application changes the windows key dll's for windows apperance enabling windows aero + transparency I recommend this to vista basic users as this tool kicks the ugly out of vista home basic and if you get a laptop dont get one with vista and never get a laptop with the os vista or windows 7 "basic" only if your geting a netbook which is compeletely fine and the effects of this application are compeletly reversible this app also patches your computer so you can use 3rd party themes and also enables transparency while having windows maximized this application is certainly recommended by me to enable transparency for windows vista home basic

This is the only theme patcher I could get to work on Windows 7 home premium. Easy to install, simple to use, and , as I said, it works (for me, anyway). None that I could find. It worked perfectly (and continues to work as I try various different themes).
