After a few Installation Problems that were quickly solved through the Support of Jarte, it works great, the screen is not cluttered like in certain other Programs and the dropdown Menus are a great solution. The only thing I can think of is that the Language option should include the possiblity to work on Documents in different languages without having to switch the Language back and forth to check the Spelling. The Themes could be expanded. All in all, it is a good Program to get things done quickly without cluttering the taskbar. Multi Language come with it, GREAT!! can recommend this program, the first one I can say this about.

Loads up nice, with no hang ups, and simply goes to work. Very user friendly. Took a little while to get used to, but not bad at all for someone that pokes round for stuf 'till he finds it without consulting that silly manual. It just works. It works very well, and is simple enough for the average dolt like me to use. When my Windows junk demos started quiting after the trial period, ( they used to mgive you stuf when you bought a computer, now they give you teasing little demos!) so I got Jarte and have loved it ever since!

Fast, portable, easy to use, Word compatible software that is very easy to use anywhere. A writers dream. Completely configurable. It took me a while to set the hover-to-click option and timing, but it was worth it. If I had known about Jarte, I would not have sprung for my last two Word upgrades!

Refer to "One Line Summary". Can be temperamental at times resulting in the need to use another word processor, but most problems can be overcome. Good to excellent program for someone who doesn't require a more elaborate word processor or a big step up from word pad or note pad.

Simple to get used to, all the "bling" is hidden, all open documents are in one window, versatile, roll-over menus, recently opened files listing, high-lighting features, I could go on and on... Let me think on it... I highly recomment this product. For note taking, or working on a document while referring to notes taken, this utility is perfect for me. It even lets me dedicate my own file extensions if I want to isolate certain classes of documents. I've been using Jarte for over a year now, and I STILL haven't discovered all of its great features. You can keep things simple or get as complicated as you need to with it and Jarte will keep it all organized for you and the best part? It keeps the clutter down on your desktop if you need more than one document open. I guess some people have a little trouble with the roll-over menus, but I mastered that in the first hour of use and love that feature. I can't say enough good things about this product, and really can't think of much say wrong about it. Try it, and you'll fall in love with it. Let Word and WordPad get dusty!

This is a very pro like product, which is good for writing/saving/printing data very quickly, which is one of its options. Can't think of any. This is one of those free products which is very useful and more people should find to assist them in their writing projects.

Versatile, lots of features 1st impression of GUI seemed strange After working with Jarte, found that the GUI, although rather different, was actually easy to use -- now I like it!I use this program as default to open lots of file types, including *.txt, *.rtf, *.pas, even *.doc.

Loads very quickly, has small footprint, superior to WordPad as well as; OO.org Writer. The UI is plain, but for me, that is a plus. I don't especially care for or a need spectacular graphical interface when all I want to do is process reports, etc. None at all. This is EXACTLY as is described. It is super easy to get accustomed to and it is a much better choice than the other free alternatives offered. (I have tried them all.) I am a Veterans Benefits Officer and use this program DAILY in preparing initial claims, disputes and various court/trial motions and petitions. So far, it has proven to have been the right and perfect choice for me. OUTSSTANDING! JOB WELL DONE! HOOYAH! HOOYAH! HOOYAH! Regards, Master Chief
