Collectorz.com Book Collector is a book database software to catalog your book collection. Adding books to the database is quick and easy, no typing needed. Just type the author and title and it will automatically download all information from various sources on the Internet (like Amazon and Library of Congres), including the cover image. After adding your books, the resulting database can be browsed, sorted and searched in various ways. Book lists can be printed and exported to HTML, CSV files or XML. Use the integrated Loan Manager to track which books you loaned and to whom.

"love it great, just can't say how good this program is" so easy to use, plenty of help if you have any questions great!! haven't run into any problems yet

"Terrible Customer Support" This program is great in theory, but the company's customer support is worse than useless. I had difficulty syncing my iPhone with the program on my laptop. I tried to get help from customer support. Instead, I got ridicule and condescension. Don't expect any meaningful help from customer support. You are on your own with any problems that occur with the program. The program itself appears to be a good one, but does nothing special. Literally a half dozen other programs do the same thing. The customer support is downright horrible. I suggest that you look for one of the other programs.

"For a book junkie, this software is essential." Using the book's bar code makes for speedy entry, good sorting options, copying to iPod or similar devices, this program seems to have it all. Can't think of any.

"Used to be good, but not anymore" Catalog your inventory of booksHTML output No Amazon lookups - you must input info if not found in their exclusive database. This info then updates their db. You work for them for free.Nonexistant customer support. In their forums, they have ridicule support emails they've received. Avoid this software.

Easy to add books They make you pay to upgrade to continue using the program you already have. They let you buy it and then when they a new version out you are unable to use you version until you pay for the new version. I will never use this program or one of it sister programs. I feel like they took my money when they are making me pay to update, which i was not told when I purchased this so when it stopped working they didn't know why and told me I needed to purchase the newer version.

Connection with many National Libaries, LoC and Dewey Class. All programms of Collectorz.com are stand-alone.No interaction possible between the programms Very good simple to use programm

Enter books by title or bar code and you not only have a list of books but the cover art, summary, value, a place to put your own comments, etc. I bought an inexpensive scanner offered on the Collectorz website which speeds things up. It's great! None I can think of.

This will look up books based on ISBN and you can import a list of ISBNs, all very useful for me. It also has a scanner interface that I have not tested, as I am using a webcam to scan ISBNs to a file. The look ups for a long list of ISBNs is PAINFULLY slow. There are free alternatives out there. This was a Trial version, which I did convert to the real one. no webcam ISBN scanning interface...seems like they could have this pretty easily. Overall, not bad. I tried over 10 of these and this made the best cost-benefit ratio for me. I submitted a bug question and they responded within 24 hours.
