Process Lasso improves system performance, responsiveness, and stability during high loads through dynamic adjustments to process priority classes. It can also automatically terminate undesired processes, apply default priorities and CPU affinities to processes, limit the number of instances a process can have, and log all processes. It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions.Process Lasso is free for home and academic use, though there are some tolerable nags for the Pro build shown after the product has been installed an extended period. The free build is not in any way crippled. Commercial use requires purchase within 14 days of evaluation. Despite being free for home use, it is now classified as Shareware to prevent any user confusion or complaints.

Does everything it says and great tech support no complaints Those that know me can tell you I hate paying for software, but this program is worth every penny and more. I highly recommend it!

It's really good at preventing my computer from bogging down when I get too many programs all competing for CPU at the same time. Can't think of any... I've tried many many different process-tweakers, freeware and commercial. This is the best I've found so far. If your computer gets sluggish with some programs acting like they're the only thing that deserves any CPU time, you owe it to yourself to give this a try. Updated on Feb 10, 2011

Good program. Have been using it for a long time now without any problems worthy of mentioning. I'm running WinVista SP 2 & Process Lasso does exactly what it was designed to do for me. I highly recommend Process Lasso & think it's a great program. Please keep up the good work & thanks for a great program. Cheers!! p.s. I load & use the latest beta versions of Process Lasso on an ongoing basis without any issues worthy of mention which speaks loudly & highly for the developer(s) in my opinion.

will stop a process in it's tracks unlike task manager kinda hard to figure out to start with

Stable and reliable. None. No bad surprises ever popped up because of it. Process Lasso is one of those programs that you might think you don't need until you use it. It's not so much the operating system you have to fear but those weird programs that decide to do weird things and you have to kill before they kill you. :P The three options to end a program are genius at work. Then there are the other ways Process Lasso can be configured to make life a whole lot easier. You think you don't need it? Try it!

I believe this is the final. but I've run all the Beta's without problems. IMHO it's worth buying, one of my better purchases.

Free version = worthless, and for this price you could just as well update your CPU and get *REAL* benefits.

GerritWittesaele, & if your PC is top notch, this program still offers real benefits even on Windows 7 with a 100 Megabit Fibre connection. GerritWittesaele@ remember - Brain in gear typing before um typing. BTW It's well under £20, are you that skint?
