Gets the things others don't. Easy to use. The only thing I don't like about this product is it won't shut it self and the computer down when it?s through

...................... ......................... My system got infected even if its installed i don't know about the paid version but it's better to stay away from the free version of avira.

I have 2 desktops and one has a MajickJack and Avira thinks it is a virus but other than that, it works perfectly. Not for you if you have Magic Jack Much better than MacAfee or Norton

Easy to use and simple instructions Limited on some applications

Rated 50/50 by jim70bone at May 12, 2010

non-intrusive, doesn't bog down system, i recommend a good firewall (ie online armor) to go along with this. Doesnt hurt to include malwarebytes which should be run every now and then none so far

It seems to check the computer quite well and keeps everything up to date. Nothing so far I really like the fact that I have two levels of protection on my machine and I think everyone else should too so please install it. In this day and age, we need all the protection we can get.

It has a very good detection rate of viruses, and the scanning is excellent. (although the detection rate of viruses is only slightly higher then Avast) 1. This program will put full screen advertisements on your computer2. Slow anti virus updates3. Much fewer features then Avast4. No option to permanently disable anti virus (handy if you are not even on the internet for a couple weeks or days) The advertisements and SLOW update speed, and lack of many features that Avast has, and virus detection rates that are only around a percent or so higher then Avast, make this anti virus just NOT WORTH USING. This anti virus use to be the best free one, simply because it's detection of viruses was a lot higher then the free competition. But now Avast is very close to this in detection rate. I would say it's only a 1 to 2 percent difference. But don't just take my word for it, I welcome you to try both programs and I guarantee you won't like Avira AntiVir.

It "works", but that's about it... Have somebody from your "QA-department" review you order processing. You might surprised with MORE business!
