I didn't have to pay for it Doesn't work with HD video Software doesn't work. Add a HD video from the camcorder, says something about messing up the frames, can't view the video in the software, and then when you try to save the program crashes. Waste of 5 minutes

This program works great for removing commercials with great precision. Slight learning curb. Works great in removing the commercials of my programs recorded with my usb tv tuner. Once you get the hang of it, it`s a breeze to use.

Easy to download and install. You will need a certain level of experience and video editing expertise, to perform the most simple edits. This program might be good if you have a lot of video editing experience, but this is a novices worst nightmare. I spent at least 6 hours trying to figure out how to trim a few frames out of a fully functional mp4 file and save it in the same format (no changes in quality, compression, frame rate... No changes of any kind except to remove a few frames)... And, I couldn't. I'm no genius, but nor am I stupid... I have been making a living as a web designer for the past 12 years.I downloaded VideoPad and accomplished the task in under 30 minutes, with no prior video editing experience of any kind.

It is fairly easy to edit/cut out pieces of video The video loses synchronization after edits. It also does an inferior job of the MP4 format editing, making it unrecognizable by iTunes/ipad. Did not do what I needed it to do, which is remove pieces of video well (e.g. commercials) and preserve a quality voice-video synchronization. Not worth using.

It's was free All I wanted to do was "cut" pieces of video out of larger video files. Not one time, and I tried different formats, did it actually do this correctly without either losing audio or getting choppy video, or audio stuttering and out of sync. Don't know what the editors were doing when they gave it five stars, maybe installing without a virus gets you a participation trophy these days.
