its very thorough It doesnt know which is the original and which is the duplicate I like it because it shows you all the excess memory you are using up with duplicates and as I am trigger happy I did have a lot of copies unnecessarily

Finds my duplicate records easily Little confusing to use at first, but once you get the hang of it.. it is pretty simple. Will purchase other duplicate finders through this company.

Trial edition restricts deletion to the point of uselessness (for me). Recommend this be raised so it can be useful and purchase isn't always mandated.

The program is fast and efficient. It really works like they say it will! That is nice to find, these days. losing your registered copy then downloading again can be a pain. I would buy this program again because it is very useful for removing duplicate files from your computer. Especially music files since ITUNES has no good way for you to remove duplicate files in your library. I regained more than 20 gb of hard disk space by using this program!

I have tried other similar software and I find Duplicate Finder gives you the best information to determine whether to delete the file. Also their support is excellent. I upgraded computers recently and there was no problem to transfer the license. Can't really think of any.

I thought it was quick, especially since it was doing a byte for byte comparison. I didn't like the 2MB limitation. I didn't like the 2 MB limitation. It found about 140 duplicate files, mostly pictures that I knew I had. I was able to delete the duplicates and regain the space.
