Actually, Orca browser has been around for a while. It only fairly recently began using firefox as a base rather than internet explorer (it switched because firefox is better), and was originally based on my old browser, Avant. So it's not actually a firefox clone, since it was originally a totally different browser with its own set of features (autofills was my favorite before I discovered LastPass), but it saw a good thing in firefox and decided to merge features

I like it. It is fast, intuitive, simple browser. Secure and fast at times not the most stablel but I like it. I do not need a browser to so many different things and have so many extensions even though most firefox extensions work in Orca too. Occasionally seems a little unstable yet it has not crashed yet. May be how it renders pages. Can't install flash! I like speed and this thing is smoking fast. It is easy to configure it the way I like it. Has all the extensions of firefox. Pretty cool browser. Give it some time and I think it will be even better!

None-it does not work in Windows 7 anyway. This browser does not work. It did not even open when I clicked on it. For a start-after I downloaded it I could not even get this browser to open. which suggests it is not compatible with windows 7 or it is poor software. so I had no option but to uninstall it.

Wow,release memory is completely and use less CPU.didn't find any no responsible /freezing problem these days,good work. Poor customizable skin. After trying FF, IE, Opera, Chrome, Maxthon, Safari, and others, I found Orca Browser to be best in terms of speed, startup. I think every FF lover should give Orca a try.....since it is using the same web engine.

Starts amazingly fast. In the order of less than 2 seconds. keyword.url doesn't work.Ask is a horrible search, couldn't change that in the config, had to use "options" which doesn't save data in about:config like they should with a gecko browser. Avant using gecko, it isn't a viable firefox alternative as I hoped. Though I do like the start up time. I also can't change the icons, and the file menu can't be collapsed by addons.

I like the feel and web page look this browser gives. Has instances where it looks glitchy (like Avant) but overall I like it. I installed Avant first then thought I would try this one. I like this one even better than Avant. With a little bit of polishing, this browser could be the best (at least in my opinion) - hell as is I prefer it over the new versions of the top 4 browsers.

I have Vista. It opens in about 10 seconds, its clean, controls are nice and plentyfull, I imports your bookmarks, and i really like the Autofill feature.view. Have opened it up multiple times in several hours and not one time has it crashed. Only one con i have found is that i can't seem to remove or change the internal default search from Ask.com to something else. very fast browser, i will recommend it to my friends and familycan't say yet how it will run on xp or mac but i will soon find out

if you have online storage through Avant, can use the same login. Orca is by the same developer as Avant. Other than still a little unstable nothing to complain about. popup blocker and ad blocker could be a little more efficient. If you are on a pc which uses Avant and you have a storage account with Orca, can use the same login vice versa. would be nice if they didn't just switch the name of Avant though this browser is not as stable yet. I don't see what all the hype is with Google chrome firefox flock opera netscape navigater IE none have the functionality as this or Avant. Orca handles all the same sites as IE unlike a lot of others I have tried in the past. Orca is a "TRUE" tabbed browser unlike IE and firefox that if a page is not related, another browser window is displayed. Orca creates a new tab each time and if you mistakingly close the browser, you start on the same page(s) you last visited. If you want better stability and less crashing turn to the original Avant browser.

Good news! Good news! After 3 year years,orca browser finally alive again. It just updated its engine to firefox 7.0, the latest. Another thing I need to say is that orca browser is no more a separated browser since now,It will exist as a part of Avant browser. What you need to do is just switch the rendering engine to firefox. One browser means two.Great!
