This program was good in its day, but it only okay now. The only use for the program that I can see is creating copies of PC Games. The problem with that is the PC Gaming industry is stagnant, they haven't had a hit of their own since Cyrsis. Most companies are turning away from the PC and only Porting their Console games to the PC. This program would be more useful if it made perfect copies of XBOX 360 games like XBOX Backup Creator or Schtrom360Xtract, something unique and progressive. Hearing about their DECEPTIVE MARKETING doubling the price and then sending e-mails making people think their getting 1/2 off is just wrong. I'm glad I never bought from them. If you need it find a way to reset the 30 day trial.

Nice burner, indeed. Has a few features that Nero 10 can't offer: virtual CD / DVD, burn disk with low speed, make images of protected disks (this feature is not needed these days, at least for me). 5 stars

I cant find any special features to talk about Why would I buy am ordinary program with that price while a lot of better programs are for free !! I use [DVD Ripper Burner] which is great as it has both the Ripping & the burning together ..It?a also fast & I can watch the vids while processing them ..It's FREE (not like this one :P) u can find it here : http://www.softdepo.com

you could create ISO from files slow loading time but I still wish it has all the features availble from other softwares of the same type. I like the feature that it stops loading no other threads and handles after the virtual cd/dvd is loaded on the virtual drive, unlike some other software that needs a software to keep running on the background just to keep the ISO or NRG in the Virtual ROM.

A solid program, but not as useful as it once was. Don't know what the reviewer below me is talking about. This program only recently reached v2. There's never been a version 3.47. Maybe he's talking about Daemon Tools? Who knows?

Phones home too often, has a rootkit like SCSI emulation driver. I used to love it, but now I hate it. The best version of it was 3.47.

use full when blindwright can't make a back up copy work 100% seems both programs work a like in some ways, when one don't work great for the disk copys there is choice between the two programs for getting a perfect copy, just one lacks features than the other. given time i belive that other features may be added, to copy disks can be long and boring process with such hard protection' but same for most copy programs there seems no 3 min quick ripp unless you only copy 700mb disks, expect 20 mins or so for dvd backup with protection, depends what protecton on a disk there is, other program you could use with such same features is Fantom, in all does it job well but 30 days is not very long 120 days trial for most software would be way better, buy the time you blink the 30 days is over....

it used to be one of my fave programs but times have changed & it's not as useful as it was some years ago.

This is my first time using this software. My mission is to obtain a copy of Windows XP Home Edition OS. I found this download easy for even me to use, the beginner computer user. .iso files are a cinch. None so far but, if there be any, you can bet 'cha bottom dollar that I'll share it with all.

It was supposedly a free trial, which is always a positive to see if the software fits a need.......Other than that it did not fit my need and I needed to uninstall. No effective uninstall program. I was unable to completely uninstall Alcohol 120. The virtual drive remains after it supposedly uninstalled, directories remain in the C:\Programs folder. I tried to reinstall Alcohol 120 and it goes through the process however nothing sjhows up in the C:\Programs folder any differently from before the reinstall. This program sucks!!

easy to use, makes perfect backups, allows mounting of different image formats. burn section is very customizable allowing for exact copies, especially when creating images of game discs. the check for updates to product feature can be annoying but you can disable that. it does come at a decent price but if it was 19.99 US dollars id buy a copy for every machine in the house. all 8 of them! if you want an all-in-one solution to burn, copy, mount, etc, program than go with alcohol 120%. ive tried daemon tools, which come free for the stripped down version, but none of their versions compare to alcohol 120%. i believe alcohol has a 52% version which allows mounting of discs for free but doea not allow for burning etc.

Our staff found the program too hard to use . It was too hard to change from CD to DVD. These guys need to come up with a simple layout that anyone can understand and work When we tried to get rid of the program we still ended up with their logo on our browser pages. When I asked for help to remove it just got smart emails back Too hard, poor back up and follow up, and certainly not friendly people to deal with. Lonf live Nero

Don't know - it won't run on my OS Nothing that I know of wrong with the software but CNET SUCKS. they can't be bothered to check information, specifically system requirements. What's happened? CNET was a source of great software now it's just a big waste of time. CNET - get your act together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best I've seen. And no disc player is needed to install software, or play games. No apparent uninstaller, but get around that by using the free program called Revo Uninstaller, browse to the folder in C:\Program Files, and select any file within, reboot, then delete the empty folder. I highly recommend this software. Takes a few minutes to figure out how to use the various options in the interface, but honestly it's pretty intuitive. Be sure to look for the sale price of approx 39 usd for a lifetime license with updates. If it's not currently on sale, it likely will be by the time you finish your free trial. - Or do some googling and I'm sure you'll find a similar offer.
